I have deployed this Null Package 2 different ways and both generate the same issue. Every single machine gets the same Status Message. I then created a new advert for a Null Deploy package. I have deleted all Advertisements from the SCCM console that were assigned to my troubled collections.
Why would I get this on every machine it was sent too if it should run from the DP? This is because branchĭistribution points do not support advertisements that are configured to run directly from a distribution point. Distribution pointĪvailability can also be affected if you are using branch distribution points and the advertisement is configured with the option Run program from distribution point instead of Download content from distribution point and run locally. If the content can not be located, ensure that a distribution point with this content is available for this computer.ĭistribution point availability can be affected by roaming boundary configuration which is used to determine whether distribution points are classified as local or remote, or by enabling distribution points as protected distribution points. The program will start once the download has been successfully completed.
Solution: If the program is being downloaded, no action is required. Possible cause: The content for this program must be downloaded into the computer's cache, or the The program for advertisement "BO1200B0 has not yet started because the content for the package "BO10008F" - "Clear Cache" (version 1) has not been acquired. I sent the package to Run From DP yet I still get this status message on every single target machine and it never runs.
